Starko joins Slack on the Chat SDK with two roles. In a project channel it is the foreman: it posts run progress, asks when it needs more information, and a reply in the thread resumes the run. In a direct message it is your personal assistant with the same tools as ⌘L.
What it can do from Slack
- Read and steer Starko AI sessions on tickets.
- Create, update and close tickets. Changes with consequences (closing, reassigning, bulk edits) need an approval, shown as a card with buttons.
- Tool results render as Block Kit cards: ticket cards, lists, due dates in your timezone, decline modals that never auto-decline.
- A live run card in the originating thread tracks the run; agents no longer claim a diagnosis they have not verified.
- Reactions on the message it is answering, so you can see it picked yours up.
- Schedule recurring asks ("every Monday, summarise open bugs") and start coding sessions.
- Files attached in Slack travel onto the ticket Starko creates.
Starko AI's "needs more information" question is posted in the project channel, and the Agents & AI Apps home tab pins starter prompts.
Tickets
Choose which fields the tickets table and board cards show, saved per view; a saved view's display settings overlay your device preference instead of replacing it.
