✨ A brand-new onboarding flow

The first time you open Starko, we now walk you through an 8-step setup that feels less like a form and more like a conversation.

Just paste your website URL. We'll automatically pull in:

Your company name — we're a lot smarter now about parsing titles like "Acme Inc. — Modern Tools" and picking the right brand segment
A clean description for your AI agent to know what you do
Your logo — we now scan every icon link on your site, prefer SVGs and Apple touch icons, and skip blurry social-share images
Your brand color — we check theme-color, Windows tile colors, and CSS variables like --primary / --brand if those aren't set

What it means for you: No more typing your company name, hunting for your logo file, or picking a hex code. By the time you reach step 2, your workspace already looks like yours.

The flow now collects what actually matters for tuning your AI:

Priorities — what your team is trying to achieve
Volume & timeline — so we can recommend the right plan and pace
Channels — chat widget, Slack, Telegram, Instagram, WhatsApp, Email
AI personality — tone of voice and answer length, prefilled into your AI settings
Knowledge — paste text, upload files, or drop in a URL

Everything you select gets saved to your workspace settings — no duplicate configuration later.

📋 New dashboard checklist

Once setup finishes, your dashboard now greets you with a "Get started with Starko" checklist styled after the rest of your dashboard. Two-column layout, animated transitions, and a media panel on the right ready for walkthrough videos.

It guides you through:

Integrate Starko on your website — copy your unique snippet straight from the card
Fine-tune your AI personality — jump to AI settings prefilled from onboarding
Add knowledge — articles, URLs, PDFs
Connect your channels — only shows the channels you said you'd use
Invite your teammates
Test your first conversation

Dismiss it whenever you're done. Progress is remembered per-task.

⏱️ Auto-close inactive conversations

Inside AI Settings → General Settings there's a new option: Auto-close inactive conversations.

Pick how long Starko should wait before closing a conversation that's gone quiet:

What it means for you: Cleaner inboxes, more accurate response-time analytics, and conversations that don't sit "open" forever just because someone forgot to reply.

🪄 An honest "Finalizing" screen

Previously the loading screen between onboarding and your dashboard showed fake progress steps. Now it shows what's actually happening:

Uploading your brand logo
Saving your AI personality & preferences
Configuring your channels
Finishing up

Each step lights up only when its real work runs, with proper error handling if anything hiccups.

🐛 Routing fix

New users were briefly being sent to /workspace-creation instead of the new onboarding flow. Fixed — every signup now lands directly in /onboarding.
