Conversation Starters need somewhere to live. We built a new tab in AI Settings so configuring them feels less like writing infra and more like writing a brief for the agent.
Three archetypes to start from
Click one and you get a working rule: page pattern, dwell threshold, cooldown, and a clearly written goal. Edit the parts that do not fit your site. Skip the parts that do.
A goal, not a script
Each rule has a free-text goal field — what you want the agent to achieve when the message fires. The agent writes the actual message, picks the language to match your company description, and decides which tools to use. You do not author copy. You author intent.
Path matching with globs
/pricing* to catch every pricing variant. /item/** for nested detail pages. Per-rule blocklists for the URLs you want to skip. A hardcoded blocklist for /login, /checkout, /legal/* always applies — proactive messages should never appear on auth or compliance pages.
Stats that mean something
Each trigger card shows fires, replies, and dismissals over the last 30 days. So you can see which openers actually start conversations and which ones get closed. Iterate from data, not gut.
Guardrails baked in
Per-rule cooldown (default 24h), per-visitor cap, dismissal cookie that suppresses fires for 24 hours, and a master kill switch at the top of the tab.
