General Settings: Tailor Your Workspace, Your Way

The General Settings tab is where you shape Starko to fit your team's exact needs. Whether you're managing a fast-moving startup or a remote product squad, this is your control center for keeping things clear, connected, and custom. 👥 Manage Your Team Add or remove members as your team evolves. Assign roles, permissions, or keep things flat — your choice. Everyone added here gets instant access to updates, check-ins, and real-time visibility. 🔌 Connect Your Communication Channels Integrate your Slack, social media platforms, or other tools to bring everything into one async-friendly hub.\ This is where Starko starts working where you need it. 🏷️ Create Custom Tags Add your own task or ticket tags to keep projects perfectly organized.\ Whether you follow sprints, milestones, or chaos theory — tags help you describe work in a way that makes sense to you, by you. 🧠 Why It Matters Settings isn’t just admin stuff — it’s how you shape Starko to support how your team actually works. Manage Team Members

Invite teammates to your Starko workspace and assign the right roles so your team can collaborate efficiently across support, projects, and AI workflows. Accessing Team Management To open team settings: Click your profile photo in the top-left corner of the dashboard. A popup menu will appear — select Team. Inside the Team tab, you’ll see all members, roles, and invites. Inviting a New Member You can add new teammates by sending them an invite link. In the Team tab, locate the “Add a new team member to your workspace” section. Enter the user’s email address. Choose their role (Member, Admin, Owner). Admins can administrate other accounts but they can't change Billing settings Owners have full access to all settings Members are workers and they have a limited scope of permissions, mainly focusing on task completion and project collaboration without access to sensitive configurations Click Invite. Important Before you send an invite, the user must already have a Starko account created.\ Ask them to register on the Starko platform first - then send the invite. Managing Existing Members Once users join your workspace, you can adjust their access at any time. Change a Role Find the member in the list. Use the role dropdown to select a new permission level. Remove a Member Click the ⋯ options menu next to the user. Select Remove from workspace. Pending Invites All invites that haven’t been accepted yet appear in the Pending Invites tab.\ You can resend or cancel them if needed.
